Coffee and this little town are hand in hand. Justook at these places. They’re all amazing in their own tiny, warm, comfortingrefuge of a way. And the thing about this damn loveable city is that they’re everywhere. Crawling out from under old buildings, plomped on street corners and growing out of the alleyway cracks of the CBD.
“…The difficulty of using the stupid twinlens was almost pleasurable. It’s a dumbarse machine that gives superb results only under the most stringent and ridiculous conditions. Love it.”—Andrew McDonald, via The Online Photographer
“Weakness is a great thing, and strength is nothing. When a man is just born, he is weak and flexible, when he dies, he is hard and insensitive. When a tree is growing, it’s tender and pliant, but when it’s dry and hard, it dies. Hardness and strength are death’s companions. Pliancy and weakness are expressions of the freshness of being. Because what has hardened will never win.”—Tarkovsky
